Data Retention Policy

While your account is active, we keep your profile, badges, reflections, evidence, and activity so you can use the platform.

Accounts with no sign-in activity for 24 months are flagged for review. We email you before any action is taken.

When you delete your account:

• your profile, reflections, and Career DNA are removed within 30 days
• evidence files are removed within 30 days
• verified credentials remain verifiable by recruiters using your verification code, with name and identifying info removed, for credential integrity
• anonymised analytics events are retained indefinitely
• moderation records are retained for 2 years for legal and safety purposes

• profile data — life of account + 30 days
• evidence uploads — life of account + 30 days
• verified badges (anonymised) — indefinite for verification integrity
• session and analytics events — 24 months
• moderation reports and actions — 24 months
• admin audit logs — 36 months
• backups — rolling 35-day window

If we are required to preserve data for legal proceedings or regulatory investigation, we may retain it beyond these periods, but only for the specific data and duration required.

You can export a complete copy of your data from Account Settings before deleting your account.
