Delete Your Account & Data

You can permanently delete your GradWIN account and data at any time.
This page explains exactly what happens, what is removed, what is kept, and how to request deletion — including without installing or opening the app.
1.Delete From Inside the App or Website
- Sign in to GradWIN (mobile app or gradwin.app)
- Open Me → Account & Data
- Choose Delete my account, confirm, and optionally tell us why
- You have a 30-day grace period in which you can cancel the request from the same screen
- After the grace period the account and its data are permanently purged
2.Request Deletion Without the App
If you cannot access the app, email hello@gradwin.app from the email address on your GradWIN account with the subject "Delete my GradWIN account".
- we verify the request comes from the account owner
- we confirm receipt within 5 business days
- deletion is completed within 30 days of verification
- we confirm in writing once the purge is complete
3.What Is Deleted
- your sign-in account and authentication identity
- profile details — name, photo, university, course, graduation year, links
- Career DNA answers, results and career profile
- capabilities, evidence items, uploaded evidence files and assessments
- credentials, certificates and their verification pages
- opportunities activity — applications, invites, saved searches, shortlist entries
- messages, feedback, notifications, saved insights and device push tokens
- invite links and attributions tied to you
4.What Is Retained, and Why
- anonymised, aggregated analytics that can no longer identify you
- a minimal deletion audit record (a hashed reference, timestamp and outcome) so we can prove the request was honoured
- records we are legally required to keep, such as fulfilment/shipping records held by our delivery providers as part of their own business records
- content you chose to share publicly outside GradWIN (for example a link you posted) which we cannot recall on your behalf
Retained records are kept only for as long as the law or the audit obligation requires, and are never used to rebuild your profile.
5.Before You Delete
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone after the grace period. You can export a copy of your data first from Account & Data. Verified credentials you have shared with an employer will stop resolving once your account is deleted.
